The Team

Jack Rosenkranz, Esq. established his elder care law firm in 1991. He recognized early the growing need for these services and the expanding choices under health care policy, regulations and laws.

Estate planning, guardianship, and Elder Law are the focus of Mr. Rosenkranz’s practice. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1986 from the University of Memphis and his Law Degree from Mercer University in 1989. He devotes an extraordinary amount of time advancing his education through continuing education on behalf of his clients.

He is a member of the Elder Law sections of numerous local and national bar associations, including the Florida Bar and American Bar Association. He is a past president of the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys and an active member in one of the largest and most influential Elder Law organizations in the country, The National Academy of Elder Attorneys. Attorney Rosenkranz was recognized by his peers as The Outstanding Member of the Year for both the Florida Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Florida Bar, Elder Law Section. His peers have selected him as a Leading American Attorney in Elder Law, as well as giving him the AV rating, the highest possible, with Martindale-Hubbell.

Attorney Rosenkranz has been an advocate for Elders at the local, state and national levels. In 2005 he testified before the Schmieding Conference on Elder Homecare and was a contributor to the White House Conference on Aging. As a lecturer and presenter at numerous continuing education courses, he illustrates his knowledge and dedication to the area of Elder Law. As a result of his experience, he is sought after to educate lawyers, paralegals, certified public accountants, and insurance professionals, as well as seniors and their families, about the developments and growing importance of Elder Law. Attorney Rosenkranz continues to serve as a dedicated academic and professional practitioner in the field of Elder Care Law.

Dana Kemper, Elder Care Attorney, received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Ohio State University in 1991 and her Paralegal Certificate in Litigation Management from The Philadelphia Institute in 1992.  In May 2007, she received her Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law.  She has been employed as a paralegal for 14 years in the areas of social security disability, insurance defense litigation, medical malpractice and nursing home negligence.  She works in the Long-Term Care Planning department.

Kevin Gilhool, Esq. Of  Counsel, received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, with honors, from the University of Notre Dame in 1988 and his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Detroit School of Law, summa cum laude, in 1991. While at the University of Detroit, Kevin served as an associate editor of the Law Review. Prior to joining the Rosenkranz Law Firm, Kevin was a shareholder at Bavol Bush & Sisco. After Law School, Kevin became associated with the Tampa office of Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn, where he practiced complex commercial litigation.  Kevin maintains an independent office in Michigan which he visits weekly to serve the needs of his Michigan clients.

Kevin is a member of Florida and Michigan Bars. Kevin is a member of the National Association of the Elder Law Attorneys and the Advocacy Section of the State Bar of Michigan.

Brook Crumrine, Care Coach, received her Gerontology degree from the University of South Florida, and Microbiology degree from the University of Florida.  After receiving her degrees she worked for a unique intergenerational  senior living community that consisted of independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing services.  In this community she worked within the social services department of the skilled nursing facility and was promoted to the position of Assistant Executive Director of the same 244 bed JCAHO accredited skilled nursing facility.  She remained in the community when she was advanced to the Administrator position of the 195 unit assisted living facility.  She had the opportunity to be the primary care giver to her own grandmother, grandfather and father.   

Carla Campbell, Paralegal, received her Associate of Arts degree in liberal studies from Brevard Community College in 1997.  She has been employed as a paralegal for over 8 years in the areas of personal injury, insurance defense litigation, medical malpractice and nursing home defense litigation.  She works in the Long-Term Care Planning department.
