Rosenkranz Law Firm (“we,” “us,” or “our”) offers a text messaging service to provide our clients with convenient communication regarding their legal matters. By opting in to our text messaging program, you agree to the terms outlined on this page.
Consent and Opt-In
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to our text messaging service, you expressly consent to receive recurring text messages from Rosenkranz Law Firm. Your consent is not a condition of purchasing any services. You may opt in by:
- Providing written consent on our client intake forms
- Texting a designated keyword to our firm’s phone number
- Providing verbal consent during a consultation, which will be documented in your file
Types of Messages
Messages you may receive include:
- Appointment reminders and scheduling confirmations
- Case status updates (e.g., Medicaid application progress)
- Document request notifications
- Office closure and schedule change announcements
- General firm communications related to your matter
Message Frequency and Costs
Message frequency varies based on your active matters and appointments. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Rosenkranz Law Firm does not charge any fee for this service, but your carrier’s standard messaging rates apply.
How to Opt Out
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive a one-time confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out request. After opting out, you will no longer receive text messages from our firm unless you opt in again.

Privacy and Confidentiality
We take your privacy seriously. Please be aware of the following:
- Text messages are not encrypted and should not be considered a secure form of communication.
- Do not send sensitive personal information via text message, including Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, medical records, or other confidential data.
- Our text messages will not contain privileged legal advice. Substantive legal communications will be conducted through secure channels.
- We will never request passwords, financial account numbers, or Social Security numbers via text message.
- Your mobile number and opt-in data will not be shared with or sold to third parties for marketing purposes.
HIPAA Notice
Given the nature of our elder law practice, some matters may involve protected health information (PHI). Text messages from our firm will be limited to scheduling and general administrative communications. We will not transmit PHI via text message. Any health-related communications will be handled through HIPAA-compliant channels.
Supported Carriers
Our text messaging service is compatible with all major U.S. mobile carriers. If you change your phone number, please notify our office so we can update your records and ensure uninterrupted service.
